Bawa Defence United Vs A&B (Khas & Viper Premier League)
Bilal Ahmed's superb performance with the bat gets A&B the victory over Bawa Defence United.
Bawa Defence were off to a flying start with Imran Qamar and Kashif Khalid leading from the front in the first innings. Kashif Khalid played a glorious innings by scoring a half century at a very early stage to give his side a boost start but Imran Qamar wasn't able score much and was sent back after scoring only 5 runs. Sohail Mansha was the third man in and he kept the pace alive by scoring 41 runs for his team. Ahmed Waqar came in on number four and he added 28 runs on the scoreboard. Rest of the batting was brutally murdered by lethal bowling attack of the A&B. Babar and Tanveer Mehboob had 2 wickets each to their names. The top batting order's performance was the only effective performance in the entire innings. Bawa Defence United were able to grasp a total of 142 runs after loosing all of their wickets in 20 overs.
Bilal Ahmed was certainly the man to take his team all the way to the celebrate glory and he most certainly was the man of the innings with his spectacular performance with the bat. A&B was off to a rocking start when Bilal Ahmed started off with absolute brilliance and played some amazing shots. With 5 massive sixes and 6 boundaries Bilal Ahmed scored 99 runs off 57 balls. Ahrar Ahmed scored 22 runs and Humayun Alamgir scored 26 runs, which added runs to the scoreboard and brought their side closer to the win. In the end it was Irfan Ayub to play alongside Bilal Ahmed and witness the victory for his side. Qamar Mansha performed well with the ball and took 3 wickets for the Bawa Defence United.
