Hush Puppies batted first and were off to a disastrous start, losing their opener Farhan Iqbal for duck. The team stumbled throughout the innings, losing wickets regularly, unable to take control of the innings. Asad Arshad fought hard to pull his team back in the game, scoring 51 runs but had little support on the other end. Tahir Buksh bowled well for his side, taking 2 key wickets. Hush Puppies eventually posted a target of 134 in 20 overs.
In response A&B made a complete mess of their chase, losing their openers for just 4 runs. Haseeb Nadeem then stepped in to save his side, scoring a match-winning knock of 58 runs to give his team a fighting chance. There was a comedy of errors with some great fielding and poor running between the wickets that lead to 3 run outs. However, small contributions by Umair Arshad, Humayun Alamgir and Saad Ali eventually got the their team over the line. A&B chased the target in 17.4 overs.
