Abbott dominant over Institute Of Architects

Abbott came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Both their openers were in fine form & they made full use of their form. Mudassir Jamshed & Mubashir Puri put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team an accelerating start. The duo made full use of the powerplay scoring at a high rate. Both the batsmen were scoring at a quick pace scoring boundaries at regular intervals. Mubashir Puri departed after playing a solid knock of 47 runs off 37 deliveries. Muhammad Irfan came in & he played with the same intent. He too scored at a healthy rate not allowing the bowlers to have their say. Mudassir Jamshed departed after playing a sublime knock of 67 runs off 40 deliveries. Muhammad Irfan departed after playing a fiery innings of 37 runs off 21 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers then made their comeback picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Mustufa Ghulam & Waseem Shaikhani lead the bowling attack picking up 2 wickets each. Abbott posted a total of 191 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

Institute Of Architects came in to chase this target & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. The bowlers never let go off the momentum since then. The bowlers capitalized on the start they got & dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Batsmen had no answer to such attacking bowling as they struggled to spend some time at the crease. Zaheen Taji was the only notable batsman who showed some sort of a fight back as he scored 37 runs off 32 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Ghulam Mustafa lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Muhammad Azhar & Pervez Sohail who managed to pickup 2 wickets each. Maqsoom Hussain, Adnan Lateef & Naveed Siddiqui managed to pickup a wicket each. Institute Of Architects were bowled out for 116 runs in 15.4 overs.
