AbuBakar Associates beat the Karachi Riders by six wickets at the Afzah Ground this week.
In what was a very bowling heavy match, the Karachi Riders struggled to make runs with none of their batsmen being able to last long on the pitch. They managed to make 92 runs in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Faizy, Arif, Waheed Hussain and Farhan Nisar took two wickets each, in a dominant bowling display.
AbuBakar Associates also struggled to make runs, chasing the relatively small target in 17.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. However Hassan's 27 from 34 and Faizy's 24 from 25 helped establish the groundwork to successfully chase the target. Umer took two wickets for the Karachi Riders.
