Alliance Sports batted first against A&D Dawson at the SPL Season 4 and were a complete mess! When star opener Atif Ahmed and one down Mir Farhad Khalid fell cheaply, the team continued to struggle after that. Ameer Raza Khan's 34, Idrees Ahmed's 30 and Ahmed Kapadia's 24 were the only high points for the Alliance line up as wickets fell in quick succession. Dawson bowlers were on fire with Ammar Pasta taking 3 wickets and Hammad Sheikhani and Adeel Abbasi taking 2 wickets each. Alliance Sports ended at 132 for 8 in 20 overs.
In response, A&D Dawson lost opener Hammad for 6 but recovered easily after that. Talha Shehzad's 44 and a brilliant 64 off 51 by Afnan Karim helped seal a victory in 19.2 overs. Alliance bowlers could do little to take wickets and stop the flow of runs.
