EFU General went head to head against Adamjee General at the Insurance Premier League. Batting first, EFU were never really in the game with their line up unable to capitalize on some decent starts. Rashid Mehmood, Hussain Mustafa and Nadeem Baig were the most notable contributors with cameos of 27, 22 and 27 runs respectively but the team lacked a partnership to really get going. Adamjee bowlers kept things tight and the pressure was on with Shoaib Ahmed, Inaam Khan and Jahanzeb Khan picking up 2 wickets each. EFU General ended at 145 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, Adamjee General were strong in the chase. Abdul Rehman's 32 and Usman Siddiqui's 37 not out were enough to propel Adamjee through to the finals in 19.3 overs. EFU bowlers tried to fight back with Zunair Mehmood picking up 2 wickets in his spell.
