Adamjee General batted first against Century Insurance at the Insurance Premier League Season 2 with their side dominating with bat and ball. Despite losing opener Imran Chughtai for just 8 runs, the team continued to contribute to the total with cameos throughout the innings. Inaam Khan chipped in with 21 while M. Jahanzeb Khan's 39, Rehan Akther's 29 and Dilip Kumar's 30 took their side to 154 for 7 in 20 overs. Century's bowlers continued to pick wickets, never letting the game get away from them. Aamir Abbas was the key bowler with 3 wickets while Danish and Waheed took a wicket each.
In response, Century Insurance could never get going at any stage. With the exception of Aamir Abbas who was in fine form with his 34, the rest of the team simply crumbled to 113 for 8 in 20 overs. Adamjee bowlers did well to restrict the opposition with Zafar Siddiqui's 3 wickets and Inaam Khan's 2 wickets keeping the chasing side under pressure.
