Sales Tigers batted first in the all important semi final with opener Rehan stealing the show. Smashing an incredible 52 runs off just 26 balls, Rehan lead the way to set his team up for an impressive total. The rest of his team however, lost wickets regularly with Challengers bowler Mansoor leading the attack, taking 2 key wickets to rattle the opposition and stop the flow of runs. Dilip also contributed picking up a wicket in his spell. Eventually Sales Tigers set a target of 79 runs in 8 overs.
Head Office Challengers were off to a flying start in the chase with both openers Rameez and Imran contributing runs with the bat. Scoring 34 and 12 respectively, the duo set the foundation for a comfortable chase. After they were dismissed however, the rest of the team simply fell apart, unable to keep their wickets intact or keep the scoreboard ticking. Tigers bowlers were aggressive against the opposition, with Rehan and Sajid taking 2 wickets each to rip through the Challengers batting line up. Nasir also picked up one wicket. Head Office Challengers were unable to recover and were limited to 72 in 8 overs.
Sales Tigers won by 7 runs and cruised to the final.
