Adamjee Life Assurance came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Their openers Abdul Mohid & Uzair Zubair made full use of the powerplay giving their team an accelerating start. Abdul Mohid middled the ball from the word go where as Uzair Zubair played second fiddle to him picking up odd boundaries. Uzair Zubair departed after scoring 20 runs off 18 deliveries. Mujahid Siddiqui came in & he played with the same intent. The duo was striking the ball cleanly & was cruising towards a huge total. Abdul Mohid departed after playing a sublime knock of 69 runs off just 38 deliveries. Mujahid Siddiqui kept on striking the ball cleanly towards all parts of the ground. M Faisal came in & managed to score 14 off 15. Asfar Zaidi also contributed with his 13 off 8. Mujahid Siddiqui followed him soon as he played a fiery innings of 62 runs off just 33 deliveries. The bowlers managed to pull back the batting side in the death overs as Adamjee Life Assurance were crushing. Naeem Hanif managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Adamjee Life Assurance posted a mammoth total of 202 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Team NSL came in to chase this target & were off to a disastrous start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. Sher Muhammad was striking the ball cleanly from the other end but was running out of partners as wickets kept on tumbling left right & center. The bowlers dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Sher Muhammad departed after playing a fiery innings of 56 runs off 26 deliveries. Muhammad Adnan came in & showed some sort of resistance as he scored 23 runs off 24 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as they had no answer to such brutal bowling. Every bowler played their part as Faizan surani lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. Asfar Zaidi managed to pickup a couple of wickets as well. Obaid Siddiqui, Uzair Zubair, Abdul Moid, Shrikant Parmar & Maqbool Zaidi managed to pickup a wicket each. Team NSL were bowled out for 131 runs in 18.1 overs.
