Adamjee Life Assurance came in to bat first with both their openers in fine form. Their openers Uzair Zubair & Abdul Mohid made full use of their form putting up a partnership of 100+ runs. The duo gave their team an accelerating start hitting out every bowler that was brought into the attack. Uzair Zubair played a fiery innings of 57 runs off 37 deliveries where as Abdul Mohid played a sublime knock of 64 runs off 22 deliveries. M Faisal came in & he played with the same intent as he scored 38 off 30. Asfar Zaidi was in no mood to settle in as he played a cameo of 30 runs off just 10 deliveries. Saad Hassan came in & he finished the innings with a flourish as he scored 34 runs off 12 deliveries. Ali Raza & Amir Aslam managed to pickup a couple of wickets each but went for plenty. Adamjee Life Assurance posted a mammoth total of 235 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Askari Life Assurance came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Dawar Khan & Ammar Anwar managed to put up a partnership of 50+ runs keeping their side in the run chase. Dawar Khan scored 24 runs off 20 deliveries where as Ammar Anwar played a sublime knock of 58 runs off 30 deliveries. Once the partnership was broken the bowlers made their comeback. The bowlers then dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Uzair Zubair was unplayable with the ball in hand. He tore apart the batting lineup single handedly picking up 4 wickets. Shrikant Parmar bagged 3 wickets & Asfar Zaidi picked up 2 wickets as well. Askari Life Assurance were bowled out for 150 runs in 16.5 overs.
