ICT v Benitoz Panthers
Benitoz Panthers batted first with opener Tabish losing his wicket for just 7 runs. After he was dismissed however, the rest of the team chipped in to contribute valuable runs with the bat. Moid, Rameez and Raja kept the scoreboard ticking with cameos in their twenties but it was Sumail Aziz who really took the momentum forward. He scored a fiery 60 runs off just 42 balls at a strike rate of 142. ICT bowlers weren't as effective as required but Ali Iqbal lead the attack with 2 wickets. Shahzaib, Anas and Ubaid also took 1 wicket each. Benitoz Panthers set a target of 192 runs in 20 overs.
With an impressive target to chase ICT had their work cut out for them. The team lost two quick wickets but opener Adeel Khan stole the show. He scored a 102 runs off 40 balls at an insane strike rate of 255! His innings consisted of 13 boundaries and 7 maxumums. Panthers bowlers were powerless against the onslaught and eventually minor contributions by Ali Iqbal and Hunain Usman comfortably got ICT over the line. They chased down the target in 18.4 overs.
ICT won by 6 wickets.
