Adeel Khan shines against AZ Warriors

ICT came in to bat first & were off to a flyer. Despite loosing a wicket early they were scoring at a very high rate. Adeel Khan & Khanshah put up a partnership of 50+ runs with Adeel Khan playing the role of the aggressor. Khanshah departed after scoring 25 runs off 29 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers started picking up wickets at regular intervals from the other end. Despite wickets falling in clusters from the other end Adeel Khan was unfazed. He kept on hitting the ball cleanly towards all parts of the ground. Adeel Khan played an absolute blistering innings. He agonizingly fell short of a well deserved century as he was dismissed after scoring 96 runs off just 46 deliveries. Naveed Nagda was absolutely unplayable. He completely ripped apart the batting lineup picking up 5 wickets. Hammad Raza managed to pickup a couple of wickets as well but the rest went for plenty. ICT were bowled out for 183 runs in 19.5 overs.

AZ Warriors came in to chase this target & were off to a decent start. Their openers provided them with a decent start as Hammad Raza scored quick 25 runs off 17 deliveries. Haider Ali Bangash came in next & played a cameo of 21 runs off 13 deliveries. Rehan Hanif looked solid before he was dismissed after scoring 36 runs off 29 deliveries. The bowlers then made their comeback & started to pick up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed. Obaid Ghazi & Khanshah were majestic with the ball in hand as they picked up 3 wickets each. Muhammad Fareed Ullah Agha picked up a couple of wickets. AZ Warriors were bowled out for 131 runs in 19.3 overs.
