Steel 11 batted first and were off to a rocky start as they lost Ali Mazhar quite early in the innings. After the early loss Shoaib and Abdullah got together and added some runs together, Shoaib was quite slow during his innings of 20 as it came of 31, he batted with a strike rate of 64, On the other hand, his partner Abdullah Tahir was in blistering form as he played a crucial knock and scored a brilliant 66 of just 59 with 2 fours and 3 sixes. His innings lifted the innings and Rizwan and Hamza played little cameos down the order to push the score to a reasonable 153. The bowling was good Asif and Afnan picked 2 wickets each and fielders also backed their bowlers as they contributed with 2 runouts.
After a good first innings score, Steel 11 bowlers started on a positive note picking up early wickets to peg Al Hamra back. It was a real setback for Al Hamra as they lost 3 wickets quite early and without much on the scorecard. But Afnan and Mubashir stole the show with their magnificent partnership, at one stage Steel 11 were on top and were looking clear favourites to take the game away but the partnership between Afnan and Mubashir did not allow Steel 11 to even get close to victory, they scored 76 and 41 respectively. Afnan batted with a strike rate of 155 with 3 massive sixes and 5 fours where as his partner Mubashir gave him perfect support. In the end Al Hamra chased down the target comfortably in 17.5 overs.
