Hiba Builder Thunders batted first against A&D Dawson in another eventful match of Shaikhani Premier League – Season 4. Thunders didn’t get a good start as their top-order didn’t play their roles as expected. Adeel Sabuwala from the middle-order then took control of the things and played a responsible knock. He scored 64 runs with the help of 8 fours. Waqar Hafiz further helped his side to reach a decent total in the concluding overs. He contributed 29 runs to the total of 166 runs by Thunders. Adeel Abbasi was the highlight from Dawson’s bowling unit as he kept a tight bowling and bowled an economical spell while taking 2 wickets too. Hammad Sheikhani also bagged 2 important wickets.
A&D Dawson, though getting an early blow, easily paced towards their target. Much of the credits go to Afnan Karim who smashed a tremendous half century. He scored 70 runs off 49 deliveries. Zuhair Siddiqui was too unfortunate to get retired hurt after he scored 31 runs. Cameos from Hammad Sheikhani and Adeel Abbasi also played a part in Dawson’s victory. A&B Dawson chased down the target in 18.4 overs. Sameer Ahmedani from Thunders was the leading wicket-taker in the second innings securing 2 wickets.
