Steel 11 batted first and were off to a rocky start. Hamza Jameel scored 10 runs off 7 balls his partner Shoaib Nisar got out on a duck and Ali Mazhar also could not contribute as he scored just 7 runs. Abdullah Tahir then stepped in to turn things around for his side with a blistering 71 runs. He played some brilliant shots during his stay at the crease and hit 3 sixes and 2 fours during his effort. After he got out, Faisal Jhangir came and scored 25 runs off 26 balls but he was also sent back to the pavilion when he was looking set. On the other hand, Yasir, Hasan and Ahmed all picked up 2 wickets each to keep their side in the game. Steel 11 in the end scored 143 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
After a brilliant effort with the ball, Benitoz got off to a flyer with the bat. Even after losing one early wicket they did not stop and the pair of Sheraz and Ahmed smashed the bowlers to all parts of the ground in their brilliant partnership. Sheraz scored 29 of 30 balls whereas Ahmed Arshad scored 60 of 41 balls with 5 fours and a six. Their partnership put Benitoz on top setting the foundating for an easy win. Ali Mazhar fought back, taking 2 wickets to try and defend his team's total but was unable to stop the flow of runs. Anas’s quick cameo of 19 of 10 balls helped his side get over the line in the final over with 5 wickets in the bag.
