Aimmz Trading went against ICT on 24th October at TMC Ground.
Abdul Rehman and Zain Khan opened the innings for Aimmz Trading. They scored 19 and 22 runs respectively. Both the batters were playing at a stable strike rate, however, Rehman was dismissed in a run out by Khansha, while Zain lost his wicket to Osama’s ball. The bowlers dominated in the middle and end overs. Hunain Usman led the attack and took 4 wickets at an economy rate of 4.75. Whereas, Osama bagged 3 wickets at an economy rate of 5.00. Haris Shams stabilised the innings with his knock of 43 off 30. Zarak Khan’s cameo of 25 at a strike rate of 166.67 was successful in leading Aimmz to a score of 155 runs.
Hammad Mughal and Talha Ahmedani opened the innings for ICT. Talha scored 20 runs off 13, hitting 4 fours. However, Hammad lost his wicket on a duck to Zarak Khan. Ali Iqbal was the highest scorer of the innings, as he smashed 67 off 40. His innings were supported by cameos of Khansha and Hunain Usman. These innings led the team close to the score. However, the 3 consecutive ducks of the last three batters, dented ICT massively. They were unable to score 2 runs to win the match. Zain and Zarak’s bowling pair shone, as they bagged 2 wickets each 4 overs respectively. Zain had an impressively low economy of 0.75, as he conceded only 2 runs in 4 overs.
As a result of the stunning bowling effort, Aimmz Trading defended the score. They won the match in the 20th over by just a single run.
