The 1st semi final of the NAC Cup (A partnership of KheloKricket and SportsFever360) took place with Arsalan Iqbal CC and Aimmz Trading going head to head.
Arsalan Iqbal batted first and were outdone by a fantastic display of bowling by the Aimmz line up. After losing opener Pervaiz Ali and one down Hamza Qadir for just 3 runs, the team were never really able to recover, losing wickets consistently throughout the innings. A fighting 30 by Monik Khan and Irteza Khan's 29 were the top scores for the batting side as Arsalan Iqbal CC were skittled out for a low 129 in 16.1 overs. Aimmz bowlers were on fire with Saqib Khan turning up for his side with 4 wickets and Fareed Shah Arbab picking up 3 in his spell. Umer Khan Paracha also picked up a couple.
In response, Aimmz Trading stumbled early on in the chase with Ahad Ali Khan and one down Abdul Rehman being dismissed cheaply. Zain Khan's 24, Haider Abbas with 30 and a fiery match winning knock of 48 off 28 saw Aimmz Trading secure a place in the final in 17 overs. Arsalan bowlers tried to fight back but could not capitalize on the early wickets. Najeeb Ur Rehman was impressive with 2 wickets.
Aimmz Trading won by 6 wickets.
