The Agha Khan University Staff managed to beat the Karachi Boat Club by six wickets at the Agha Khan University Ground, this week.
The Karachi Boat Club's average batting performance allowed them to score just 96 runs in 18.1 overs before being all out. Atif Ahmed made just 15 from 8 while Muhammad Arshad, Zahid Hussain and Yasir Farooqui each made 16 runs from 8, 20 and 24 balls respectively. Rahim Suleman and Naveed Shoukat were very impressive with each taking three wickets. Adnan Jaffery took two wickets while Sami and Humair Lakhani took one each.
Agha Khan University Staff made a 100 runs thanks to some well timed knocks; Daniyal Afsar's 30 from 26, Adnan Jaffery's 24 from 17 and Humair Lakhani's 15 from 8. Faraz Paracha and Abdullah Faruukh took two wickets each.
