Al Burhan batted first against Hyderi Royals and lost opener Mustafa cheaply early on in the innings. The team however recovered well after that with his partner Muhammad Murtaza and Hussain Ratan building an innings for their side. Murtaza contributed a handy 30 runs but it was Hussain Ratan who really shined for his team. His sublime knock of 78 runs included 5 boundaries and 5 sixes. With the foundation set, minor contributions of 19 and 25 by Mufaddal and Abbas boosted Al Burhan to post a target of 175 runs in 20 overs. Royals bowlers were weak against the opposition, unable to break the momentum and pick wickets when needed.
In response, Al Burhan's bowlers were ruthless against the opposition. After losing opener Taha for duck, Hyderi Royals continued to lose wickets in quick succession and completely collapsed. The only 2 players to reach double digits were Burhanuddin Tayyab and Aziz Burhanuddin with 15 and 20 runs respectively. Al Burhan bowler Moeez Shosa starred with the ball picking up 4 wickets in his spell. He was closely followed by Abi Turab who also took 3 wickets as Hyderi Royals were bowled out for just 83 runs.
Al Burhan won by a massive margin of 92 runs.
