Semi Final#2 of the FAW FOAP Tournament was played between Al Haj FAW CC and Master Motors.
Al Haj batted first losing both openers cheaply. Jazib and Arif then took over the reins with impressive knocks of 37 and 23 runs respectively. The side then kept the momentum going with a blistering 44 off just 15 balls by Waqar as Al Haj FAW CC ended at an impressive 114 for 3 in 8 overs.
In response, Master Motors had their work cut out for them. The team however crumbled under scoreboard pressure with only Ahsan Iqbal contributing a fighting 36. The rest of the team however were dismissed in single digits as Master Motors only managed 74 for 5 in 8 overs. Al Haj bowlers were on fire with Waqar taking 2 wickets.
Al Haj FAW CC won by 40 runs and will face Pyramid Logistics in the final.
