Nazimabad Fighters batted first against Aag CC at the Golden Gate Premier League final. The fighters line up however simply could not get going at any stage, throwing away their wickets without any real contributions. Ansar Khan top scored for his side with 39 while Fahad Afridi chipped in with 23 as Nazimabad Fighters were bowled out for 138 in 18.4 overs. Aag CC bowlers were ruthless, picking up wickets throughout the innings and giving very little away. Sarfaraz was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets.
In response, Aag CC were off to a disastrous start after losing both opener Fareed Yaqoob and one down Kamran Ibrahim for duck. The team however recovered easily with Ubais Ullah Khan knocking a responsible 50 off 47 at the top to carry his side to the win. Sami Khan and Waqas Rao also played valuable innings of 31 and 39 respectively as Aag CC raced to victory in 19.5 overs. Mohsin Khan was the lead wicket taker for his side with 2 wickets but despite the early breakthroughs, the team could not defend the total.
Aag CC won by 5 wickets and have won the tournament.
