The much anticipated final of the Memon Premier League took place with Wintex Strikers batting first against TNN Titans. The team however came undone by a formidable bowling attack lead by Rehan Hanif who picked up 4 wickets. Danish and Sumail Aziz were the only two players to put up a fight with Danish in particular smashing an impressive 66 under pressure. Sumail also chipped in with 31 runs but the rest of the team simply fell apart. Owais Pasta also picked up 2 wickets as Wintex Strikers were limited to a modest 139 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, nothing could go right for the chasing side as they were dismissed for 123 in 19.4 overs. Once opener Shakir Serang was dismissed for duck, the entire team fell under pressure. Bilal Omer's 27 and Dawood Dawson's 25 were weak attempts in pulling their team back in the game but nothing could save their side from an in form Danish Aziz. His 5 for 17 left the Titans in tatters. Maroof kept the pressure on with his 3 wickets too.
Wintex Strikers won by 15 runs and were crowned champions of the Memon Premier League- Season 7!
