All Round Karachi Stallions Win By 36 Runs

An odd first innings for Karachi Stallions who batted first against Suleman Textile Stallions at the 23rd Challengers Cup.

With the exception of Ejaz Shah's 38 and an impressive 55 off 39 by Fareed Ullah Agha, the rest of the side were dismissed in single digits, managing 134 for 9 in 18 overs. Suleman did well to restrict the opposition with Akthar Muhammad's 3 wickets building pressure. Naveed Rangoonia and Shehzad Suleman also chipped in with 2 wickets each as the bowling side did well to keep things tight.

In response, Suleman Textile Stallions openers Rabish Ahmed and Noman Ampara were the only 2 batsmen to put up a fight. The duo scored 22 and 24 runs respectively but after their dismissal, the side imploded. Nadir Shah completely choked the opposition with his 3 wickets for just 8 runs while Ali Naqi, Daniyal Gigi and Rehan Tanoli took 2 wickets each. Suleman were restricted to 98 for 9.

Karachi Stallions won by 36 runs.
