Sons of Pitches batted first against Universal Warriors and lost opener Noman Arfeen for duck to an epic piece of bowling by Arsalan. The team then continued to lose wickets frequently but the ever reliable Zubair Arif kept the scoreboard ticking. His valuable 52 run knock kept things steady on one end. Cameos of 29 and 21 by Moiz and Bilal further propelled Sons of Pitches to post a formidable 185 in 24.5 overs. Salman, Arsalan and Irfan took 2 wickets each for Warriors.
In response, Universal Warriors were completely decimated by Sons of Pitches in the chase. After losing both openers cheaply, the team never recovered with the bowling side ruthlessly taking wickets. Musab and Yasir were the only rays of hope with knocks of 37 and 26 respectively as Universal Warriors were bowled out for a mere 126 in 20.2 overs. Ali Aamir in particular was outstanding in his spell of 4 wickets. Ahmed Lakhani and Murtaza Salim kept the pressure on taking 2 wickets each.
