Karachi Qalanders batted first against Ten Pearls and completely collapsed under pressure. Opener Adam Khalid was dismissed for duck and things did not get any better after that. The trio of Saad, Abdul and Waqas tried to save their side but were simply outdone by a brilliant display of bowling by the Ten Pearls unit. 5 of the remaining batsmen were dismissed in single digits as Karachi Qalanders stumbled to 104 in 20 overs. Haider was outstanding in his spell, taking 2 wickets and giving away only 11 runs in his spell of 4 overs, eventually earning him Man Of the Match! Mir was also key with his 2 scalps.
In response, Ten Pearls opener Shiraz's 33 and his partner Ajdal's 56 not out met the target in just 12.5 overs. Qalandars bowlers were simply helpless, unable to pick wickets when needed. Saeed took the lone wicket for them.
