Zenith Associates batted first against Bright Gymkhana with their openers getting their side off to a flying start. Rizwan Qureshi's sublime 78 and Yasir Bangash's 43 set a formidable platform for the subsequent batsmen. Muqarram Waheed Khan also chipped in with 26 runs and despite losing wickets later in the innings, the opening pair had done enough to ensure that Zenith Associates would end at a competitive target of 196 for 6 in 20 overs. For Gymkhana, Shehzad, Zeeshan, Shoaib and Afzal picked up a wicket each.
In response, Bright Gymkhana lost opener Shafaqat Ali cheaply for just 6 runs. The team continued to struggle after that, losing wickets consisently, unable to get going at any stage of the chase. Sohail's 21, Haider's 25 and Shehzad Meher's 38 were the only innings to show any intent while the rest of the team threw away their wickets. Zenith did well to restrict the opposition with Naimat Khan's 3 wickets for just 8 runs ripping through the batting line up. Arshad and Mohib also took 2 wickets each as Bright Gymkhana ended at 152 for 9 in 20 overs.
Zenith Associates won by 44 runs.
