Adamjee General Insurance batted first against Life Insurance at the Insurance Premier League and completely fell apart. With the exception of opener Nasir Khan's 23 and number 7 Usman Siddiqui's 25, none of the other batsmen were able to effectively score runs with 9 of the line up being dismissed in single digits. Life's bowlers were in top form, striking when needed to stop the flow of runs. Muhammad Taha's 3 wickets and Umer Noor and Shrikant Parmar's 2 wickets each bamboozled the opposition to a low 101 in just 17.3 overs.
In response, it was an over all comfortable win for Life Insurance despite losing opener Asif Mirza for just 5 runs. Opener Talha Arshad's 39, Saad's 20 and Mujahid's 18 had the chasing side over the line in 15.1 overs. Adamjee General's bowlers were ineffective, unable to pick wickets when most needed.
Adamjee Life Insurance won by 7 wickets.
