Alpha CC batted first against Amadeus Super Cricketers at the 19th Challengers Super League Final. While opener Yousuf Halari was dismissed for just 4 runs, the remaining batsmen recovered well to set a strong total for their side. Syed Inam Agha was especially outstanding in his knock of 75 runs. Raheel's 38 and Adeel's 30 were other notable contributors as Alpha CC ended at a mammoth 203 for 5 in 20 overs.For Amadeus, Sajid Kath and Hasan Mehmood picked up 2 wickets each.
In response, Amadeus started off well in the chase with openers Hasan Mehmood and Faizan Azam contributing runs at the top. While Hasan's handy 37 got things started, it was Faizan's determined 70 off 39 which set up a comfortable foundation for his side. One down Rizwan Ahsan also tried hard with his knock of 24 but the team were unable to get over the line, scoring at less than the required run rate. Javad Ali put a dent in their plans with his 2 wickets while Areeb, Yousuf and Arif picked up a wicket each. Amadeus Super Cricketers were unfortunate to fall short of the target ending at 189 for 5 in 20 overs.
Alpha CC won by 14 runs and were crowned champions.
