Alpha School came in to bat first & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets early on. The bowlers bowled at tight line lengths picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets. Uzair Amir was the only batsman who was able to spend some time at the crease. He played a sublime knock of 51 runs off 39 deliveries taking his team to a fighting total. Shamsuddin Ali Akber lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets. Ameer Hamza, Mahesh Kumar & Ghulam Murtaza managed to pickup a wicket each. Alpha School were bowled out for 158 runs.
NVJ Govt High School came in to chase this target & were off to a similar start loosing 3 wickets early on. The bowlers managed to give their team the perfect start as they decimated the top oprder uprooting the spirits of the team. The entire batting lineup struggled to spend some time at the crease as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Ayaz Ali was the highest scorer with 17 runs off 18 deliveries. Abdullah Nadeem was absolutely unplayable as he single handedly tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from M. Shahyar who picked up 3 wickets & Hamza Shehzad who picked up a couple of wickets. NVJ Govt High School were bowled out for 89 runs in 17.4 overs.
