The NAC Cup- Karachi edition (A partnership of KheloKricket & SportsFever360), kicked off this past Saturday with Amadeus Super Cricketers batting first against Arsalan Iqbal CC.
Amadeus were all over the place, losing wickets consistently throughout the innings, unable to really build any partnerships. Ibad Anis was the stand out savior for his side with a very impressive 55 off 43 including 5 fours and 2 sixes. Zafar Ali was merciless in his spell, picking up 4 wickets and giving very little away. Mamoon Imtiaz kept the pressure on with his 2 wickets and a wicket each by Arsalan, Asadullah and Najeeb had Amadeus bowled out for a modest 112 in 19.3 overs.
In response, Arsalan Iqbal CC were absolutely bamboozled by the opposition. The chasing side never stood a chance with Umer Noor producing an unplayable spell of 4 wickets for just 8 runs. Imran Ali also ripped through the line up with his 3 wickets and Naimat Khan picked up a couple as Arsalan Iqbal CC were skittled out for 77 in 17.1 overs.
Amadeus Super Cricketers won the opening match by 35 runs.
