Amadeus Super Cricketers batted first and were off to a flying start with opener Faizan Azam scoring a fantastic 60 runs to set his team up for a massive total. While his partner Adnan lost his wicket for just 20 runs, Ibad Anis kept the momentum going with a brilliant knock of 75 runs a strike rate of 227. The batsmen was well on his way to a century before he had to retire hurt. United's bowler Arshad Kashif fought hard, taking 2 wickets but was unable to stop the massacre. Amadeus Super Cricketers set a target of 188 in 20 overs.
United Energy Pakistan had a rough day with the bat. The team lost wickets regularly and were unable to steer the momentum in their favor. Shariq Iqbal (33)and Tabish Sheikh (34) contributed with the bat, trying to hard to pull their team back in the game. The remaining batsmen however were outdone by a wonderful display of bowling and simply fell apart. Waliullah lead the bowling attack, striking at key times, picking up 4 huge wickets and handicapping the opposition. He was supported by Umair Zaheer who also took 2 wickets. United Energy Pakistan were reduced to 150 runs in 20 overs.
Amadeus Super Cricketers won by 38 runs.
