Aga Khan Gymkhana batted first against Amadeus Super Cricketers at the 15th Challengers Corporate Cup Final. AKG were off to a rocky start after losing their openers cheaply but Afzal Baig's sublime 64 and a handy 57 run knock by Jamal Shah steered their side to safety. Amadeus bowlers were ineffective after their early strikes with Rizwan Ahsan picking up 2 wickets for his side. Aga Khan Gymkana ended at a competitive 161 for 6 in 20 overs.
In response, Amadeus Super Cricketers starting off strong with Faizan Azam posting 62 runs at the top. The team lost a few wickets with Hasan Mehmood and Ibad Anis being dismissed cheaply before Mohammad Waseem's 49 pulled their team back in the game. AKG bowlers however kept at it, picking wickets to keep the pressure on. Afzal Baig was having the game of his life, picking up 3 wickets for just 8 runs to eventually contain Amadeus Super Cricketers to 159 for 7 in 20 overs.
Aga Khan Gymkhana won by just 2 runs and were crowned champions.
