American Doors and GFS Builders and Developers went against each other on 26th November at Rashid Latif Cricket Academy.
Younus Tai and Hashim Hussain Vayani opened the innings for American Doors. While Younus scored 20 runs, Hashim lost his wicket on a duck. Sameer Javed dominated, as he bagged 2 wickets in his 4 overs. Abdul Rehman M Rafiq stabilised the innings with his knock of 53 runs. He played at a strike rate of 132.50, hitting 7 fours. Hence, American Doors posted a total of 144 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.
Rehan Nepal and Abdul Aziz opened the innings for GFS to chase, scoring 15 and 20 runs respectively. The batters were unable to display a good effort, as A Mateen Jakwani remained the highest scorer with 22 runs only. The bowlers took over with Abdul Rehman and Saad Dawood bagging 2 wickets each in 4 and 2.3 overs respectively.
As a result of the bowling attack from American Doors, GFS was restricted to a score of 101 runs at the loss of all wickets. Hence, American Doors emerged winners in the 16th over only.
