Allied friends couldn’t make an actual impact on the game with their performance in the first innings, now it was all up to their batsmen on how to go about such a huge chase. Haris Maqbool started off decently and scored 41 runs with little help from Nadeem Saleem who went down for a duck. Hassan Khalid gave no cushion to the batting side to stand their ground and kept on hitting them with their brutal bowling attack, followed by Irfan Bawa’s bowling spell. Both bowlers were successful on grabbing 2 wickets each for themselves. The entire top batting order was dismantled brutally and weren’t allowed to score in the double figures. Mustafa Mazhar tried to bring about a change in the game with his knock of 31 runs, but was taken down by Irfan Bawa. Umair Adil and Ahmed Majid both scored 11 runs each to bring their team a bit closer to the target score, but after their wickets fell, rest of the team collapsed. Allied friends were restricted to a total of 153 runs in 20 overs.
