Khas XI batted first against ANB at the final of the CPL Night Tournament 2019. The team lost opener Khurram Mazhar cheaply but his partner Haseeb kept things going. Haseeb played an impressive knock of 62 off 46 under pressure to keep his side in the game. Khurram Ashfaq's 25, Adnan Sohail's 19 and a valuable 31 off 18 by Yasir Tanveer helped Khas XI reach a competitive 169 for 5 in 20 overs. ANB bowlers tried to contain the opposition but couldn't really pick wickets when needed.
In response, ANB's top order were in fine form with Ahsan's 37, Bilal Ahmed's much needed 46 off 31 and Humayun Alamgir's sensational 47 off 20 sealing the victory for their side. Khas XI bowlers Hassan Javed and Qamar Saleem took 2 wickets each but the bowlers went for plenty. ANB chased down the target in just 14.4 overs.
ANB won by 5 wickets and have won the tournament.
