Insurance Association of Pakistan (IAP) batted first against Shan Foods at the 10th Challengers Corporate Cup Final and completely fell apart. With the exception of Ahmed Nawaz's cameo of 28, nothing could stop the duo of Arif Yaqoob and Danish Farooqi who ruthlessly ripped through the IAP line up. Danish was outstanding in his spell, taking 4 wickets and giving nothing away. Arif followed it up with 3 wickets to bowl IAP out for just 94 runs in 18.2 overs. 7 of the batsmen were out for in single digits.
It was an easy chase for Shan Foods with their openers Arif Yaqoob and Abu Bakar contributing 33 and 19 at the top. Fareed Shah also chipped in with 27 runs as Shan Foods chased down the target in 16.3 overs. Nawaz Khan and Nadeem Baig picked up a wicket each for IAP but it was too little too late.
Shan Foods won the 10th Challengers Corporate Cup by 8 wickets.
