Arsalan Iqbal was able to absolutely overpower Alpha CC, beating them by 69 runs at the CAA Ground this week.
Arsalan Iqbal started strong with opener Saif Ur Rehman making 37 from 30 and despite a poor performance from the middle order, managed to come back spectacularly. Ammar Iqbal made 80 from 48 to help push the total to 172 runs. Aman Burney and Muhammad Umair Shaikh took three wickets each while Daniyal Ahmed took two and Raheel Abdul Majeed and Tahir Hassan took one each.
Alpha CC had a similar start with opener Muhammad Yousuf Halari making 31 from 20. Then not only did their middle order fail to deliver but the lower order collapsed as well leaving them with just 103 runs made. Arsalan Iqbal took a massive four wickets while Tauqeer Khan took two and Zafar Ali took one.
