Trail Blazers batted first against EMKAY Lions with Imran Shah taking charge. The opener smashed 57 runs at the top despite losing partners Haris and Hamad cheaply. Ever reliable veteran Atif Ahmed then stepped in with a brilliant 100 run knock that came off just 41 balls including 14 boundaries to boost Trail Blazers to a mammoth 199 for 4 in just 16 overs. Lions bowlers were helpless against the onslaught with Bilal, Talha and Fahad only able to pick up a wicket each.
In response, Emkay Lions lacked any real will to chase down the target. The team consistently lost wickets, unable to build a partnership going or capitalize on their cameos. Trail Blazers bowlers did well to limit the opposition with Rizwan Diwan taking 2 wickets and the rest of the unit chipping in. Emkay Lions ended at 116 for 6 in 16 overs.
