Downtown Real Estate and Builders batted first against Auto Mall At the Al Wakeel Cricket League Season 3.
Opener Fahad Jabbar was sublime with 70 off 54 which included 8 fours. The team however lost 2 quick wickets with Faisal Butt and Bilal Aslam being dismissed cheaply early on in the innings. Adeel Sabuwala however kept the momentum going with an explosive 46 off 25 and Adeel Abbasi fired a quick 25 to boost Downtown to a competitive 183 for 7 in 20 overs. Auto Mall bowlers weren't able to really put any pressure on, being smashed for plenty. Zain Khan picked up 2 wickets in his spell.
In response, Auto Mall stumbled in their chase but managed to pull it off. The top order of Faizan, Zain, Inam and Jamil kept at it, chipping away at the total to help clinch the victory. Downtown bowlers did well to keep striking and picking wickets but despite a strong performance by their unit and 2 dramatic run outs, Auto Mall chased down the target. Adeel Abbasi, Salman Dossani and Naveed Baloch took 2 wickets each.
Auto Mall won by 1 wicket.
