AVT Enterprises went against Scorchers CC on 10th October at the TMC Ground.
Waqas Wakeel and Mohsin Ahmed Pai opened the innings for AVT Enterprises. However, both lost wickets on fewer runs. Waqas Hanif was stunning with the ball and took the lead. He successfully dismissed 4 crucial batters. Amir Batla scored 22 runs off 23 balls. In addition to this, Yahya Rizwan played a knock of 29 runs, while Saquib Ikhlas scored 26 runs. These three innings were crucial in leading Enterprises to a total of 141 runs.
Shahwaiz Yaqoob and Ibrahim Akhtar opened the innings for Scorchers CC. The openers scored a collective of 37 runs. Khurram Qazi, the one-down batter, played an essential innings. He smashed 73 runs off 49 balls, hitting 9 boundaries. Though Khurram Dilawar bagged 3 wickets; however, he was not able to dent the batters’ momentum. The lineup was unstoppable, as they chased the score.
Hence, Scorchers CC bagged victory in the 19th over by 6 wickets.
