AZ Warriors dominant over MF Roomi Strikers

MF Roomi Strikers came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Muzammil Mehboob & Sumail Aziz put up a decent partnership at the top with Muzammil Mehboob scoring 28 off 20 & Sumail Aziz scoring 29 runs off 18 deliveries. Owais Rehmani came in & he played with the same intent. He scored at a healthy rate scoring boundaries at regular intervals. Shaaz Shajani came in & he contributed with his 16 off 18. Once he was dismissed the bowlers asserted their dominance onto the game. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Owais Rehmani was left stranded at the other end. He played a fighting knock of 42 runs off 43 deliveries. Suleman Saleem was unplayable with the ball in hand. He tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Sameer Ahmedani who picked up a couple of wickets. MF Roomi Strikers posted a total of 140 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

AZ Warriors came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets early on they were scoring at a high rate. Ahmed Asif & Shakir Serang opened the innings with Shakir Serang scoring 7 runs off 4 deliveries. Hasnain Deriwala came in & he played a solid knock of 18 runs off 13 deliveries. Suleman Saleem came in & he played with the same intent. Ahmed Asif & Suleman Saleem put up a partnership of 50+ runs. The duo took the attack towards the bowling lineup scoring boundaries at ease. There was some clean power hitting on display from both the ends as every bowler was hit out of the attack. Ahmed Asif played a sublime knock of 67 runs off 48 deliveries where as Suleman Saleem played a solid knock of 44 runs off 30 deliveries. Sameer Javed was the only bowler who managed to pickup a wicket.
