AZ Warriors win a low scoring encounter

AZ Warriors came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 3 wickets early in the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Bilal Aslam scored a quick fire 27 off 17 balls. Rabish Ahmed played a sublime knock of 69 runs off just 44 deliveries. The rest of the batsmen were unable to score much ad the bowlers managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals. Adeel Abbasi lead the bowling lineup as he picked up 3 wickets. AZ Warriors managed to score 136 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Gigi Gladiators came in to chase this target & were off to a similar start as they also lost 3 wickets inside the powerplay but managed to get a decent score inside the powerplay. Adnan Salim scored a quick fire 27 off 13 deliveries. Once the powerplay ended the bowlers dominated through out the innings. The bowlers bowled at tight line & lengths not allowing the batsmen to score easily & managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed. Owais Rehmani was the only batsman who showed some sort of resistance as he scored 36 runs. Umer Khanani lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets & found good support from other bowlers who managed to pickup a wicket each.
