Smashers vs B1 Sports (RAMZAN LEAGUE)
B1 Sports dominated Smashers throughout the match in the end they won the game easily by 48 runs in Ramadan League fixture.
In this fixture of Ramadan League B1 Sports batted first and with spirited efforts from their batsmen they managed to post a good first innings sports. Though their start was not an ideal one as Owais picked up Fahad for a golden duck on the first ball of the match. Feroz was then partnered by Kashif and they both started playing their shots and smashed bowlers and had a good little partnership before it was broken, they added more than 30 runs together at a brisk pace. Kashif was much more aggressive he scored 25 of just 12 balls. After this partnership no one could really create a big impact. Everyone chipped in and scored but no one could score big. Bowling was really untidy from Smashers as they conceded 25 extras. Owais was the most successful bowler as he picked up 3 wickets.
Smashers in their second innings had a job to do as they needed 94 runs to win. They were hoping for a fast start from their opening pair but they were unable to give them a good start. Both Hasnain and Moiz were struggling to find the middle of the bat and hence they could not score quickly, they made 11 and 13 respectively. It was a sorry scorecard from then on. The middle order could not live up to the expectations. But credit should be given to the bowlers they stuck to the plan and could not let Smashers to get even close to the target. Everyone was economical, Anas picked up two crucial wickets. In the end the match was won by B1 Sports by 48 runs.
