Zamzam Sports Vs Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana (15th Challengers Cup)
Bakht Gul's 64 set up an easy victory for Zamzam Sports against Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana.
Zamzam Sports batted first and were off to a poor start as they lost their openers quite early in the game. But then walked in Bakht Gul who became the backbone of his side as he carried the team on his back. During his innings he was supported by others aswell but mostly he was on his own. He scored an impressive 64 of just 50 balls. After his dismissal Abdul Shakoor played a solid innings of 30 of just 18 to give his side the momentum they wanted going into the second innings.
The scoreboard pressure was there on Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana as they came out to chase a big 175 but were off to a poor start as they lost Amin for a duck. After his dismissal Farhan and Adnan tried to bring the side back into the game with their little cameos They battled for a while but could not carry the innings forward and both were dismissed after getting good starts. From then onwards the team took a nose dive as they lost wickets in a heap to leave Zamzam Sports on top. In the end Zamzam defended their total easily by 23 runs.
