What a final at the Memon Cricket League (MCL). Bantva Lions batted first against Kutiyana Kings in one cracker of a match. Star openers Fahad Jabbar and Bilal Omer did not hold back with Fahad Smashing an impressive 69, carrying his bat throughout the innings. He as crowned batsmen of the tournament. Bilal contributed 29. Umair Yousuf then stepped in to really turn up the heat with a brilliant 70 which included 6 boundaries and 2 sixes. On the biggest of all occassions, the batting side had come through ending at a competitive 186 for 3 in 20 overs. Danish Aziz took 2 wickets for Kutiyana but couldn't stop the onslaught.
In response, Kutiyana Kings started off in similar fashion with opener Danish Aziz knocking 29 runs. Salman Sanghani then threatened a victory with a sublime 68 which included 6 boundaries. Sumail Aziz however was the last notable batsmen for their side with a cameo of 29 as the top order's dismissal lead to an all out collapse. Osama Ayub and Rabish Ahmed took 2 wickets each while Haji and Waqas's wickets caused the scoreboard to stop ticking as a flurry of quick wickets limited Kutiyana Kings to just 179 for 8 in 20 overs.
Bantva Lions had done it! They won by just 7 runs and were crowned champions of the Memon Cricket League.
