Hush Puppies batted first and were off to a solid start with both openers Waqas and Asif contributing valuable runs with the bat. After the duo was dismissed however, the team was unable to recover, losing wickets frequently, unable to contribute runs with the bat or keep the scoreboard ticking. Asad Arshad was the only other notable scorer for his side with a valuable cameo of 34 runs. Bawa's bowlers did well to limit the opposition, with Imran Qamar leading the attack, taking 2 key wickets. Hush Puppies posted a target of 141 in 20 overs.
Bawa Defence United were off to a rocky start in their chase with both openers being dismissed by a wonderful display of bowling by Asif Hayat. The team struggled against an aggressive bowling attack with Rizwan Aziz being the sole batsmen to show any resistance. With little support on the other end, he knocked a magnificent half century that came 42 balls and included 2 boundaries and 2 maximums singlehandedly leading his team to victory. Hush Puppies bowler Waqas Ali fought hard to defend his team's total, picking up 2 wickets to rattle the opposition. Bawa Defence eventually chased down the target in 18.1 overs
