Bilal Associates came in to bat first & faced an early setback as they lost two wickets, but Shahid Mirani played an attacking innings, scoring 34 runs off 20 balls to provide a solid foundation. Ali Iqbal then took charge with a magnificent knock of 85 runs off just 44 deliveries, displaying exceptional batting skills. Farhan Nisar and Asif Izhar contributed 20 and 21 runs respectively towards the end of the innings. Mujahid Motors’ bowler Atta Jan picked up two wickets. Bilal Associates finished their innings with a challenging total of 197 runs for the loss of five wickets.
Chasing the target, Mujahid Motors encountered early troubles as they lost both their openers. However, Hannan Achakzai played a valiant innings, scoring 42 runs off 32 balls, trying to keep his team in the hunt. Hikmat Ullah also contributed 32 runs off 48 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup struggled and collapsed under the pressure of the required run rate. Atta Jan played a quickfire innings of 32 runs off just 17 balls, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide. Bilal Associates’ bowlers Arif Yaqoob and Waseem Ali claimed two wickets each.
