The much anticipated Dollar East Premier League final took place on 22-11-2015 between favourites Royal CC and Bin Qasim at the Asghar Ali Shah stadium.
The stage was set for a memorable clash as Bin Qasim elected to bat first. The top order continued their purple patches in red hot form: Faul Ul Hassan blasted his way to a 70 ball 100 hitting 6 boundaries and 3 sixes while Anus scored a quick fire 42 in just 25 balls. Fahad Jabbar then came in and kept the scoreboard ticking in his usual style, contributing with his cameo of 23. The platform had been set for Bin Qasim to launch and set a colossal target on the board, but Taha Mamsa led Royal CC back in to the game. He picked up 3 quick wickets, breezing through the entire middle order and triggering a batting collapse that restricted Bin Qasim to 176 at the loss of 6 wickets.
Despite losing opener Ejaz Shah for just 3, Royal CC backed themselves to win the game as Zakir Malik and Umer Imtiaz occupied the crease. They put on a fantastic 60 run stand for the third wicket, contributing 31 and 46 respectively to the cause. Their dismissals brought Aqib Rizvi and Mir Afzal to the middle, two batsmen who had been in sublime form through out the tournament. They both got off to starts and built a tidy little partnership, but before they could take the game away from Bin Qasim, star bowler Fahad Anjum was brought in to the attack. He did his job brilliantly, getting rid of both batsmen and now Royal CC were in deep trouble as 5 batsmen had made their way back to the pavillion. Any chance of a comeback was thwarted by Furqan Khalil's run out, as the entire bottom order except for Anjum Manzoor was bulldozed through. Fahad Anjum ended the night with 4 crucial wickets while Mohammad Bin Qasim picked up the last wicket that got Royal CC all out on 164, crowining Bin Qasim the champions of the Dollar East Premier League.
