Black Caps welcomed Aslam XI at their home ground in a friendly match played at Korangi Crossing.
Tariq and Arsalan opened the innings for Aslam XI but Tariq could not make a lasting impression on the game as he was out for 7. Arsalan however got his eye in but then got out for a well constructed 23 off 19. On a tricky pitch, Asif top scored for his side with a 28 ball 35, an innings that included the only six for Aslam XI. For Black Caps Noroz Baloch picked up 3 while Khizer picked up 2 wickets to restrict the oppostion to 121 for 8 in 20 overs.
Black Caps set about chasing the near run a ball target with confidence as opener Haseeb Ahmed struck 5 boundaries in a 43 ball 40. He was well aided at the other end by Shabbir who scored 35 to almost see the side home. Rafique played a steady hand later on to ensure Black Caps got home with 5 wickets in hand.
