BMCC and Gulberg Gymkhana went against each other on 24th October.
Kashif Barooq and Hassan Jafri opened the innings for Gulberg Gymkhana. While Kashif got out on a single run only, Hassan scored 20 runs off 15 balls. The one-down batter, Farhan Asif, was also unable to make a significant contribution, as he scored only 14 off 11. The batters displayed a sloppy effort and were unable to stand firmly against the bowlers. Usman Jaffrani bagged 4 wickets, leading the attack. In addition to this, Hamza Khalid and Babar Aziz took 2 wickets each. As a result, Gulberg Gymkhana was restricted to a score of 145 runs.
BMCC opened the innings with Umair Paracha and Danish Afridi determined to chase the target. Umair scored 20 runs at a strike rate of 111.11, however, Danish lost his wicket on a duck. Gulberg captured the start they needed in the second innings with Hassan Jafri and Talha Bin Haider dismissing 2 batters each. However, it was Umer Khan Paracha and Muhammad Faizan Khan who shone through and stabilised the innings. Umer scored 32 off 31, while Faizan smashed 45 at a strike rate of 132.35. Cameos by Jamil Agha and Hasan Abdul Waheed fell in favour of BMCC.
Due to the strong batting efforts from BMCC they were successful in chasing the score. Hence, winning the match by 4 wickets with 2 balls to spare.
